Agro-Ecology solutions
for a changing world.
We aspire to be a co-creator of agro-ecology solutions in the Global South. We support and accelerate regenerative food production systems using practices that restore and regenerate the land around it.
Our Latest Projects
Foodure: a systemic strategy simulation for a transition of the agricultural sector towards a regenerative approach. It allows players to experience and understand the challenges and benefits resulting from a change from industrialized monoculture to regenerative systems and helps the various involved stakeholders to formulate concrete goals and a common agenda.
ASRA Uganda: A training event designed to put Regenerative Agroforestry on the map in Mpigi, Uganda, and bring it to life for local farmers. It featured lectures from agroforestry experts and university researchers and the collective planting of a 2-acre demonstration site.
Our Services
Our Mission
Providing knowledge, resources, and infrastructure for the local communities and smallholder farmers to allow them to follow a biodynamic approach that goes beyond “sustainability” and towards the regeneration of the ecological vitality that has been lost through decades of global landscape degradation.
Achieving this mission requires two things:
1) Commitment to facilitating regenerative practices
Permaculture and agroforestry are practices with a proven capacity to build healthy soils, diverse ecosystems, and climate resilience while simultaneously improving local food and financial security. Tari is committed to scaling these practices by amplifying the impact of existing regenerative initiatives. Through our network, we connect do-ers and change-makers with the resources and expertise they need to thrive.
2) Mindset Shift and cultural transformation
Tari aims to facilitate systemic change - change that addresses core issues and can be supported over the long-term. Truly systemic change requires a profound collective reevaluation of self, and the nature of our relationships to each other and our planet. In practical terms, this means better and more empathic communication between stakeholders, and active reflection on the roles and responsibilities of key players. Tari is developing tools to facilitate dynamic communication and inter-personal understanding between stakeholders at every corner of the regenerative transition.
